New information suggested that Crashary V2 was actively being developed with USSR involved, including plans for built-in account generation and testing against major anticheats and bots ahead of a reported New Year’s Eve release. We have new information about Crashary V2, the planned sequel to Crashary (the infamous Realm crash-lopping bot from the first half of 2023). We first reported on Crashary V2's development in August; USSR (now "NT AUTHORITY/hpwd") and Vision, two original Crashary developers, denied involvement. Now, though, USSR appears to be a main dev and has been speaking publicly about it.
He said that it will be able to generate Minecraft accounts itself instead of requiring users to link their own accounts, and that Scythe Anticheat, which he owns, will automatically block it.
Scythe Automod will apparently block Crashary V2 by sending a long message advertising Scythe to every player that joins. Crashary V2 will search for that message for two seconds and leave if the message is detected; if not, it will crash the Realm. Scythe is open-sourced, so anyone can access the code that blocks Crashary V2, but it still advertises Scythe.
USSR has been testing Crashary V2 on Realm Bot, which blocked the crash and set off the bot detection feature but did not globally ban the account.
He also claimed to be able to bypass FairPlay at around the time that a Realm with it was crashed (notably using a simple method) using a different bot called "Next".
Crashary V2 is expected to release on 31/12.
Cosmos, an anticheat and bot, has been discontinued by its three owners: A1terSaber, deadtryhard343, and samcko. They cited drama, the monetary cost of operating the bot, and the difficulty of running and managing the community. They said that Cosmos "had a good run" and "will go down in MCBE History".
Alter referred Cosmos' users to Realm Bot, UniqueShield, and Vortex, three similar bots.
Over the last month, Cosmos has gotten very frequent updates.
Cosmos will cease service at the end of the year, just as Crashary V2 is scheduled to release.
