A few days ago, we found out that Crashary, a prevalent realm crashing bot created by USSR has received an unofficial sequel known as CrasharyX from a member in the community known as dlscordlan (ID: 726612709663047681).
In our previous article we talked about this dangerous community project and how to protect your realm, however, some prominent members from the ARASR community have taken a deep dive on the project, mostly thanks to new_guh (ID: 1267412081804705859) and the final results of this investigation show that this bot is not dangerous at all.
Although marketing CrasharyX with features such as: ForceOP, suspending realm accounts, generating realm codes, nuking capabilities, etc... It has been proven that all the aforementioned features are false and impossible to do without ownership of the realm owners account. Furthermore, after looking into their website more, all of their claims can be proven wrong, supported by their poor coding, most likely AI generated. Some leaked code:
After going through all of this, a general consensus can be reached that CrasharyX is a nuker with no known dangerous features, so for any realm owners out there, the situation regarding nuking bots remains unchanged.
🛡️ How To Protect Your Realm 🛡️ Even though CrasharyX turns out to be fake, nuker bots still exist and can still harm your realm, here are a few ways to stay protected from that:
- Add a trusted & strong anticheat for ingame exploiters. Such as Paradox, Isolate, Matrix, Etc.. All can be found in the Anti Cheat Channel at discord.gg/realmhub.
- Add a realm utility/automod bot*, for chat relay, bot mitigation, etc, a few bot examples: Realms+, RealmBot, and UniqueShield, Etc... Miscellaneous Bots Can Be Found In The Realm Hub Discord Here
- Only give in-game staff and operator status to trusted players.
- Do not make your realm code public, rather invite manually through the game or a realm utility bot.
