Creator Pages arrive on the Marketplace

Like in an overflowing buffet of (cube-shaped?) foods, the Minecraft Marketplace is brimming with options to choose from, whether they be new skins, textures, add-ons or even whole new worlds to explore. So many creators and so much glorious content! But the flipside of so many options is that it can be easy to miss new offerings from your favorite creators.

Worse, sometimes having too many choices make it difficult to pick anything at all, which is what psychologists call choice paralysis, and which is how I’d feel if I had to pick from a literal buffet of square-shaped foods. Brownies? Lasagna? Those small cube-shaped pieces of dried papaya you discover in a trail mix bag?

Thankfully, keeping track of new content from your favorite creators is about to get a lot easier!

How do Creator Pages work?

Creator Pages are a nifty new feature in the Minecraft Marketplace that allows creators to showcase their offerings and connect with players. And for players, they give you a place to navigate to find the latest worlds, add-ons, and skins from the talent you like. Think of them like little restaurants, where you keep going back for your favorite foods – or to discover new ones from the chefs you already love! (And no, there is no specific reason I keep reverting to food metaphors.)

An easy way to navigate to a Creator Page is by finding your favorite offer by a creator, and then clicking on that creator’s name featured on the page. Easy!

Players can follow creators by clicking (or unfollow by unclicking) the follow button on a creator’s page. You can then find the creators you follow in a neat little list via a new “creators” button on the Marketplace home page. You can then quickly navigate to cheese these creator’s pages by clicking on their name on the list.

And through Creator Pages, you can also provide feedback directly to creators, giving them a butter better idea of what the players enjoy and would like to see more of.

Now the only quiche question that remains is which creators will you follow?

PS. Time for lunch.
