HAVE YOU PLAYED: THE 10TH ANNIVERSARY MAP?

Published: June 1, 2019 - View official source

June is here and the dust has finally settled after a month of celebrating the 10th anniversary of Minecraft. We've almost vacuumed all the Creeper cake out of the carpet, and started having meetings about what we'll do for our 20th anniversary. Retire? That'd be nice.

In all the excitement, you might have missed the free 10th Anniversary Map made by Blockworks we gave away. It's a celebration of all things Minecraft, and it's available free on the Minecraft Marketplace (Java players get it free too! You'll find a download link in this article).

Last time we talked about this map, we kept schtum about its contents, keen for you to discover its secrets for yourself. I'd say you were pretty successful. But now that it's been out in the wild for a few weeks, let's take a brief look at Blockworks' celebration of a decade of crafty mining.

Hang on, this museum doesn't even have a gift shop, but it’s still somehow the best museum of all time??? Historians are just going to have to admit it because this multi-floored Minecraft extravaganza has taught me so much I didn't know about the game. Did you know it has gold blocks in it? Wow!

But what lives under the museum? The people who make the signs saying NO TOUCHING THE EXHIBITS COME ON WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? Or a visually spectacular minecart ride to sights that'll have you hammering the screenshot button until it breaks? I'm happy to say that, in the case of this map, it's the latter. Sorry about your screenshot button though. : (

Hey, at least you can touch the exhibits!

Can you find everything in the 10th Anniversary map? Try it today and see!
