Herm purchased MCBE Realm Hub from I3 and turned it into the new UniqueShield Support Server, prompting criticism from parts of the community over the loss of the server’s historic identity and channels. The article also reported that I3’s wider influence in the MCBE scene appeared to be collapsing, with his disappearance and the deletion of two servers marking a major shift in community power.
A few days ago, Herm (hermetic.), owner of UniqueShield (a Realm-Discord bot and anticheat), bought the Server MCBE Realm Hub for $50 from I3 (who got it for free from Shadow, developer of Realm Bot). Herm converted it into the new UniqueShield Support Server, with many more members than the original. This has sparked backlash from some Community members who accuse I3 and Herm of betraying the Community by deleting the historic channels (that were purged once before by Dooka), and Shadow by selling away his gift (though I3 reported only selling "the channels" and retaining ownership). In separate statements, I3 said he "repurposed it for a better purpose" and Herm said he wishes it to have "a new life".
This also may create a power vacuum in MCBE, which a new Server partially staffed by the Realm Bot team called Minecraft Bureau will attempt to solve. It hasn't grown much yet, though. Contrary to what I3 said, Herm now fully owns the new UniqueShield Server.
