MCBE News was able to get an interview with Tom, a former high-ranking admin of NRIS who is now on the anti-hacking side of the Community. Below is some information from the interview:
Tom first got into the MCBE Realms Community from Cloudy Network. Frazer, an admin there, introduced him to Realm Bot (which was then in the beta phases). Roman, the lead developer of Realm Bot back then, hired him as a staff member and eventually he became the Community Manager. As the CM, Tom started hiring more staff members, including Mr Mando. He saw Mando had potential and might one day replace him, so he started being toxic to him. Tom demoted Mando; Mando complained to Lego, a developer; Mando "also got Community Manager", and eventually Tom was demoted. Since then, Tom had "worked to destroy Realm Bot".
Tom was also a staff member on a Server called CrabSMP, whose owner, Smoothie (speaking of Smoothie, he is returning to the MCBE Realms Community as we mentioned yesterday), was involved with NRIS (No Realm Is Safe - a prominent hacking group). After a network called Alpha Network banned him, he "messaged Smoothie and told him [he] wanted in".
And so begins the story of Tom's hacking career.
