March Recap

EditorialPublished March 28, 2024Byシリアル-V

March 2024 brought a serious Bedrock update issue for PC players, with Mojang warning some users not to update because of a risk of world loss and broader technical problems affecting installations. The article also highlighted work on a planned documentary about allegations against FairPlay owner Brylan, while noting continued growth for Realm Center, the Anti P2W movement’s website and API, and Bridgify.

⚠️ PC Update Issues ⚠️

In the most recent Minecraft update, it seems that Mojang had some pretty serious technical issues affecting PC players. Upon loading the game, an "Urgent Information" screen popped up warning PC players not to update their game (without the assistance of something similar to the repair tool on the Xbox App), or else they could be at risk of losing their worlds. Many PC players are simply not able to update their versions yet. Hopefully, this issue will be resolved soon.

🎬 Documentary in Progress! 🎬

Other exciting news came up this month. A notable YouTuber (who will remain anonymous at this time) was contacted by xAssassin, an admin of the anti-pay-to-win ("Anti P2W") movement. xAssassin has gathered a group of people to help the YouTuber compose a script for a documentary-styled video exposing Brylan, "CEO" (owner and main developer) of FairPlay Anticheat, with the hopes of shedding some light on a lot of unethical and probably illegal things Brylan has kept buried and shunned from the public eye.

The person creating this has said that if his viewers are receptive to the post about Brylan and his video does decently well, he will be willing to work on other documentaries with topics from our community!
