The creeeeeeper of the opera is heeeerreeeeeee! 

That’s right, my New Year’s resolution is to put on a stage show in Minecraft! 

It’s long overdue, and honestly, how hard can it be? As I am also a narrative mastermind, I’m pretty sure I can wing it without a script (they’re so restrictive, don’t you think?).

The very first thing I need is a setting, and these customizable biomes are so realistic that everyone in the audience will be swept off their feet! All I need is in there: rain, thunder, sandstorms, and even blizzards. For the grand finale, I’m going with shooting stars and aurora borealis!

To build the stage, I need plenty of tools and here I have everything I’ll ever need. It also came with lots of weapons that I can use as props. And if my creative genius is suddenly stricken with brilliance and can’t be contained, there are new ores and new dimensions that I can explore.

Texture Pack: Lo-Bit 8-bit by Tetrascape 

Throughout the play, I also want to add a bit of that retro look. It’s a postmodern thing; you wouldn’t get it. By implementing this texture pack, I’m able to get exactly that 8-bit vibe I’m looking for, complete with vibrant pastels and an accompanying soundtrack. I wonder where I’ll store all the awards I’m gonna win... 

Skin Pack: Wizards by Gamefam

Wizards! That’s what my show is going to be about! Everybody loves wizards, but real wizards are often busy conjuring spells, so let’s find some actors and have them roleplay as mages, spellcasters, and mystical sorcerers. That’ll work, right? 

But we also need costumes for all the extras: 

• To connect with the youth, I’ve hired some Boba Teens HD by Wonder 
• I love fashion and Soft x Punk by Yeggs is sure to add some flair to my show 
• Everybody loves animals, so let’s go with Kitty by Pickaxe Studios 
• A chunk of eeriness is great, so let’s try Galaxy Entities by UnderBlocks Studios 
• And to add some jump scares, I’ll use Be an SCP by Starfish Studios 

Mash-up: Dragon Mash-up by Kubo Studios 

A very wise person (me) once said that no show is complete without dragons. In this mash-up pack, you can find fire dragons, ice dragons, earth dragons, moon dragons, and many, many more. Each dragon has its own floating island, and of course, you can ride them. I’m thinking I’ll also get my own dragon egg, put it on stage, and hatch it in front of the audience. Jaws will drop! 

Oh, no, the owner of the theater just showed up, demanding to see the play as is. Okay, let’s do this...

THE LONELY WIZARDS

Okay, so some wizards are like super sad, and they sing a song about it (note to self: compose seriously sad song). Hey, who forgot to lock the dragon cage!? Oh, that’s me. No, no, no! It’s all according to plan to have fire-breathing dragons flying about... for unrelated reasons, we must now cut to our intermission! 

INTERMISSION

I seriously need time to come up with polish the last act, so I'll distract the owner by... 

• Playing some soccer in Lifeboat Soccer 24 by Lifeboat 
• Showing my skills using Hoverboards by BLOCKLAB Studios 
• Teaching them survival skills at high altitudes in Ultimate Hill Base by Glowfischdesigns 
• Conjuring up magic with Three Wishes by CubeCraft Games 
• Letting them make a movie out of this play using Action Movie Maker by Everbloom Games 

FINAL ACT

Welcome back! So, the wizards have stopped the dragons and now they all get along and nail this triumphant, amazing dance routine! Just as planned!
