Mojang reportedly patched the mass Realm inviting exploit and banned many accounts that used it from accessing Realms, though FairPlay claimed to have already found and released a new bypass. The article also noted that Cosmos v3 was expected soon, MCBE Promotions had seen only minor changes after its ownership transfer, and further hacker interviews or a possible MCBE News server move were being considered.
According to an announcement made in the FairPlay Discord Server, Mojang has patched mass Realm inviting. Mojang also banned many accounts that used mass inviting from playing Realms (we were able to independently confirm this).
Mass inviting was a way for some Realm owners to gain many members, while also being quite annoying and unethical. Multiple mass-inviting bots were active, including FairPlay's bot, Klar.
Brylan (the owner of FairPlay and Klar) reported that he has already found a way to bypass the patch, and that the new version, "Klar spoofed v2," is out.
- Cosmos v3 will probably be out in the coming days or even hours.
- MCBE Promotions has not changed much following its announced change of ownership, aside from some changes to its channels and structure.
- Another interview with another former hacker may come soon.
- MCBE News may also be transferring to a new Discord Server (multiple interpretations of the word "new" apply). Stay tuned!
