July 27, 2023, Twitter leaker NikMC leaked new Minecraft: Pocket Edition development information. This concerned a feature that was revealed in 2020 - the Bundle. Bundles were supposed to debut three years ago as part of 1.17, but due to issues with MCPE, they still don't exist in the main game. Early Bundle functionality came to MCBE in the last 6 months, though it was still in the buggy early stages. Now, new changes are being planned, like more polished storage functionality, and even a new empty Bundle texture. There are now three separate textures for the different item states: empty, filling, and full. The Bundle may be introduced to the main game in the next major update, 1.21.
⚠️ Chat Spam Attacks Surge ⚠️
There have recently been many chat spam attacks on Realms - maybe more than ever before in recent MCBE history. The proud source of these attacks is the fake ARAS Server - All Realms Aren't Safe. The chat messages are usually things like "This Realm is unsafe! Join [Fake ARAS link]!". They have also tried to frame Cosmos, a growing Realm bot & anticheat, for attacks, even though Cosmos has nothing to do with them. Cosmos developer A1terSaber said that an upcoming Cosmos update will include protections against chat spam attacks. Until then (or if you don't want to use Cosmos), do NOT give out your Realm Code, and generally being careful about who you let in - fake ARAS seems to also have a new command that can provide a lot of dangerous information about a Realm.
Another question remains - why now? Why are chat spam attacks only starting now? Perhaps the answer to this is that USSR stopped working on Crashary and left it with Vision, an untalented coder who is unable to fix Crashary's bugs. So, hackers must find other attack methods.
