With today’s release, our mapmakers are adding to the list with a slew of scientifically sound new maps! 

How do I play the new Java Realms maps?

Boot up Minecraft on your device of choice, then find Minecraft Realms in the starting menu. Press the “Configure” button, then choose the “Reset World” option on the Realm slot you’re ok with overwriting (or use the “Minigame” slot for minigames). Now you can pick the map you want to play from the corresponding categories! 

ADVENTURE: SUBCONSCIOUS

Subconscious is a trip into the mind of our protagonist, Charlie, who is fast asleep while you as the player perform all the arduous tasks in his brain to demonstrate his mental will for a scientific experiment! Notably, when you’re holding a block, you can move backwards and forwards and the further you are from it the bigger it will become and vice versa! Then drop the massive block to bridge a gap or turn yourself small to fit through a ventilation vent. Noble sacrifices, and if it was me having to enlarge a chocolate bar in my possession to the size of a log for scientific progression, I would tolerate it! 

ADVENTURE: AGAINST ISKERSIDE

How would this make the scientists of the world feel? This topic is explained in Against Iskerside, where the scientists have banded together to ban magic, but magic wielder Iskerside shows up at the Flying Science Exhibition, demanding the reward for most outstanding scientist! You must follow him back to his tower to reason with him – sure, calculus isn’t as thrilling as casting a fireball, but there must be a place for both!
