1. Baby mob adoption center 

Why not share the love – literally? Maybe your friend is more of a Creative player and is having a hard time tracking down baby mobs in your Survival realm. Or maybe you’re the one who’s still missing a warm baby pig from your collection? Set up a small adoption event on your realm and find the babies you’ve been looking for! You can even build a permanent center where players can put baby mobs up for adoption. Don’t forget to give them creative names using the craftable name tags! 

2. Baby mob photo scavenger hunt 

Have you seen all the baby mobs that Minecraft has to offer? Prove it! Set up a scavenger hunt where each player sets off in a different direction with the same quest: to take screenshots of as many baby mobs as possible. You can even set a time limit and award points for each mob. The prize? Maybe the winner can choose what everyone else uploads to Realms Stories! Or just gets more baby mobs. You really can’t go wrong here. 

3. Baby mob safari 

A more relaxed, collective version of the previous activity, the safari is exactly what it sounds like: a group of friends exploring together to see as many baby mobs as possible. Hop on a camel, a happy ghast, or your choice of horse, and uncover all the cuteness that Minecraft has to offer together. The memories practically make themselves. Plus, you’ll be happy you teamed up once it’s time to head to the Nether! 

4. Naming babies 

Naming can be tough! Many pets and even babies have gone by 'cat' or ‘lil’ guy’ for weeks until a name just felt right. But what are friends for if not to help each other out? Pay a visit to your friends’ base and give their baby mobs the cutest names you can think of. Or silly ones. Or ones that contain cryptic messages that lead to treasure... or a trap.

I may never have an IRL pet lion (and I reluctantly acknowledge it’s for the best), but the Pets Collection add-on lets me live that dream in any of my Minecraft worlds. In fact, you can have pretty much any pet you can imagine, from penguins and meerkats to monkeys and red pandas! Plus toys, beds, and accessories that are so cute, I just screamed at my desk. But everyone understood why when I explained it.
