Bee Bee

Bees visit Flowers to gather pollen, then return to a Bee Nest or Beehive. Pollinating Bees can help nearby crops grow, connecting a small mob with farming and a new resource cycle.

They defend themselves and their home when provoked. Smoke from a Campfire beneath a Nest or Hive allows safer harvesting, making the hive’s placement part of a useful farm design.

Blocks

Nests and Hives

Bee Nests appear naturally, while Beehives provide a craftable home. As Bees return with pollen, their home fills with Honey. A full hive can be harvested with a Bottle or Shears for different resources.

Honey Blocks

Honey Blocks slow movement, restrict jumping, and interact with Pistons. They can carry attached blocks in contraptions without sticking to Slime Blocks, allowing builders to use the two materials in separate moving sections.

Honeycomb Blocks provide a decorative honey-themed material alongside the functional Honey Block.

Items and Farming

  • Honey Bottles collect Honey from a full Nest or Hive.
  • Honeycomb Honeycomb is harvested with Shears and used for Beehives and Honeycomb Blocks.
  • Flowers support Bee breeding and the pollen cycle.
