Learning Cubed Update
Learning Cubed Update brought Tiny Takeover and Chaos Cubed features to Minecraft Education. This Minecraft Education update released as 26.32, with its rollout dated July 30–August 4, 2026.
Multiplayer and Classroom Tools
Cross-Organization Collaboration
Dedicated Servers gained cross-tenant multiplayer support. When enabled by an IT administrator in the Dedicated Server Admin Portal, schools can invite other organizations into their worlds for shared builds, competitions, and other activities.
Mobs and Items
Tiny Takeover Features
Baby mobs received dedicated models, textures, sounds, and animation changes. Golden Dandelions allow eligible babies to remain young, Name Tags became craftable, and updated Spawn Egg interactions make creating baby mobs easier.
These changes extend the classroom feature set with more distinctive animals and new ways to personalize companions.
World Generation and Building
Chaos Cubed Features
Sulfur Caves and Sulfur Springs introduced new places to explore, alongside Sulfur and Cinnabar block sets, Geysers, and Sulfur Spikes. Sulfur Cubes added block-dependent interactions that connect the new mobs with building and experimentation.
Accessibility
Closed captioning has limitations in this release. The caption option is not exposed through the normal Accessibility settings and can be toggled through options.txt. Even when enabled, only selected sound events currently produce captions, rather than comprehensive coverage of every game sound.
Platform Releases
ChromeOS and Android received 26.32 on July 30, 2026. Windows, macOS, and iOS followed on August 4. The version uses Education’s newer year-based numbering.
